Buy Black Tulip® Magnolia online. Black Tulip® Magnolia is a deciduous magnolia that has it all! It features dramatic, black-purple flower buds, that bloom into pink flowers. The flowers have darker fuchsia on the outside of the petals and light pink on the interior of the petals. Quick-to-flower small trees that work well as landscape accents. Their fragrance and dense presentation on small trees justifies planting Black Tulip® Magnolia near doorways and paths.

Ordered this tree but delayed shipping to coincide with fall planting. SPF called because the only one left was a “whip” with no branches. These trees are so hard to find, so I asked them to ship it anyway. And I’m glad I did because it’s nearly 3 years later and the tree is doing very well. This is the first season that it has bloomed, and is full of the dark goblet shaped flowers. The tree is now close to 10 ft tall and has finally branched out nicely.

Ordered 2 magnolias. They are pretty good heights, however, both were shipped in the same rectangular box, 1 pot at each end. Box wasn't marked "This side up" which resulted in many broken limbs and both tops snapped off. Delivery people had no idea how to handle the box. Are the main trunks stuck at 4 ft forever???
