Buy English Lace Upright Japanese Maple online. English Lace Upright Japanese Maple is a rarity, as there are only a very few upright growing A. palmatum dissectum cultivars available on the market. 'Seiryu' has long been the alone in this category, but we are thrilled to introduce to you another member of the upright, laceleaf family! This particular tree has an upright, almost lateral growth habit, and is sure to not disappoint! It produces deep reddish-burgundy lacey and feathery leaves in the spring that can show signs of green in the summer months. Fall color shows oranges and reds. Needs to be planted in a protected area, where little wind and heat can reach it, due to the open and lateral habit.
Family: Sapindaceae / Aceraceae · Common Name: Maple
