Buy Dove Tree online. The straight species of Dove Tree is unique compared to countless other flowering trees. This tree grows rather slowly, and prefers some afternoon shade in hot climates. This tree produces large white bracts when it flowers that hang below the branches and flutter in the breeze with a dove-like appearance that is incredible to behold. When grown from seed, the tree can take up to 10 years before it flowers, and will flower with irregularity after that. The white bracts are set off by green foliage throughout the year until fall, when it will produce a showcase of yellows and oranges.
Family: Nyssaceae · Common Name: Dove Tree, Handkerchief Tree
