These rare hybrids combine the best of both worlds: the better growth rate and the interesting color patterns of Manfreda, and the habit and refinement of Agave. Like the name of this Mangave implies, this succulent's notable feature is its central band of lighter green to complement its dark green margins. The leaves are stiff but arch down slightly. Although 'Center of Attention' and 'Racing Stripes' share the feature of a central stripe, they are all from different species of Agave and grow very differently.
