It holds its vibrant hue through spring and most of summer, only mellowing slightly when humidity cranks up. Despite its flashy appearance, it's no diva: Key Lime Lamb's Ear is both vigorous and polite, forming a lush mat without becoming invasive.
Though blooms are secondary here, soft purple flower spikes do make an occasional appearance, charming pollinators and adding bonus interest. But make no mistake—this plant is all about the foliage.
