HONEYCOMB BUTTERFLY BUSH Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips
Buddleia is slightly difficult to grow and needs to be planted in locations where it does not stay wet. Feed once a year with a slow release fertilizer.

Beautiful color and interesting flower growth, in clumps along the truss instead of a solid truss. Grew and bloomed all through our dry heat wave this summer, even bloomed last summer in the same conditions after being planted in June. Bloomed before the other colors!

Bought the Honeycomb along with another butterfly bush in spring of 2012, and they arrived in excellent condition. The Honeycomb grew to 2 - 3 feet and bloomed the first year. The second year, it absolutely took off! 5 - 6 feet tall and covered in bright yellow blooms. They just GLOWED; you could see them from far away. And the bush was covered with butterflies all the time. It even continued to bloom through the first few hard frosts we had here in zone 7b. Can't wait to see what it does this year.

This is the sweetest smelling butterfly bush ever!! Smells like warm honey & draws in the butterflies & hummingbirds like crazy. Even though at the time my garden was in a zone 4, I planted it in a protected southwest corner bed where it flourished for 4 years until a roofing truck parked on it. Have to get more now.
